It'll be ages before YenPress finish this novel so can't you do like they did with Highschool DXD and Toaru Majutsu no Index and translate just the more recent chapters?--[[User:EduRitta|EduRitta]] ([[User talk:EduRitta|talk]]) 02:05, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

In reguards to Toaru I believe they only licensed the first section of it and not New Testament so they continue to translate that. The novel for High school DXD is not even licensed in english so it definitely can't be used as an example. Also if it were so simple as translating later chapters they would probably allow it. However if you allow one series to get away with it others will argue the same thing and eventually Baka-Tsuki could get taken down for Illegal DMCA infactions. Also if just one series was allowed to get away with it what will other people who had their favorite series go through the same thing think? I mean Hidan no Aria (sure the company gave up after a while but 1-5 are still licensed) was in an even worse position than Mahouka in reguards to english release speed as it was 1 volume a year as opposed to 2-4 volumes a year. It still got taken down even though it was at around 10 translated volumes at the time. So if you care about Baka-Tsuki let them do their policy says. If you are still unhappy find a translator willing to translate it on their own personal blog that way Baka-Tsuki does not have to deal with it. Though chances are it will turn out how the original Solitary translations did when it continued translating DanMachi. <br>
