Format Standard

Titles

• Untranslated Chapter titles keeps their original title if they're known.
• The English part of the original title keeps its underscores at all times and in all versions.

Narrative Tenses

Translators are allowed to use whichever tenses they need, but editors are to ensure that the text is mostly in present tense, with past tenses used when necessary

Style of English

In lieu of the setting, all text are to be in British English (unless there are Americans in the story, which so far, there aren't any yet.)

Names

Academy City

• Kamijou Touma - The main protagonist of Toaru Majutsu no Index.
• Misaka Mikoto (御坂美琴) - A heroine of Toaru Majutsu no Index. Stars in her own spin-off series, Toaru Kagaku no Choudenjibou.
• Tsukuyomi Komoe (月詠小萌) - Kamijou Touma's homeroom teacher. Known as one of the 7 great mysteries of the school for her child-like appearance and behaviour. Introduced in Volume 1.
• Aogami Pierce - Kamijou Touma's class representative. His name literally means Blue hair piercings guy. Introduced in Volume 1.
• Heaven Canceler - A frog-faced doctor of Academy City introduced in Volume 1.
• Fukiyose Seiri (吹寄制理) - A female classmate of Touma's.
• Yomikawa Aiho (黄泉川愛穂) - A female gym teacher at Touma's school. She also works for Anti-Skill.
• Yoshikawa Kikyou (芳川桔梗) - A female scientist involved with research projects at Academy City.
• Uiharu Kazari (初春飾利) - A female middle school student and a member of Judgment Branch #177.

• Aureolus Izzard - An alchemist formerly of the Roman Catholic Church introduced in Volume 2
• Orsola Aquinas - A Roman Catholic nun introduced in Volume 7
• Agnese Sanctis - A Roman Catholic magician introduced in Volume 7
• Lucia - A Roman Catholic magician introduced in Volume 7
• Oriana Thompson - A magician working as a mercenary, introduced in Volume 9
• Lidvia Lorenzetti - A Roman Catholic magician introduced in Volume 9

Terminology

• Espers - Humans talented with paranormal abilities

Festivals

• Daihaseisai - A sports festival in Academy City
• Ichihanaransai - A school festival
