Volumen 14 Capítulo 121 - La Tenacidad de un Mago

1ª Parte

Tras tantos años sin ver a Roxy, pude comprobar que no había cambiado lo más mínimo desde la última vez que la vi; y no solo me refiero a su cuerpo, que también, pero tampoco ha cambiado su actitud y forma de comportarse.

Lo que sí ha cambiado, y seguro que ha sido por los días que estuvo atrapada en este Laberinto, es que se encontraba bastante desgastada físicamente. Tenía ojeras, se le notaba que había pasado bastante hambre por sus mejillas, y su coleta estaba increíblemente descuidada; por no hablar de que toda su ropa estaba bastante sucia, haciéndola ver como una niña callejera en el borde de la calle principal de alguna ciudad.

Y aun así, el Roxy seguía siendo tan Roxy como la última vez que la vi.

Gisu decidió que no perdiéramos más tiempo en volver a la ciudad, decisión que me pareció acertada.

Talhand la llevaba en su espalda conforme volvíamos recorriendo el mismo camino que habíamos tomado para llegar hasta aquí. Roxy murmuró estas palabras y sin más, se quedó en silencio.

Bueno... es cierto que he crecido bastante, así que imagino que es normal que no me reconociera.

"..."

La conversación no fue especialmente larga, pero tras escuchar la voz de Roxy por primera vez en bastantes años, fue suficiente para calmarme al sentir la caricia en mis oídos.

Debo controlarme, o podría cometer algún fallo por no estar atento...

2ª Parte

Cuando conseguimos regresar a la superficie, informamos al grupo de Lapan del regreso de Roxy y estos no pudieron contener lágrimas de felicidad.

Supongo que esta debe de ser la primera buena noticia desde que comenzaron a explorar el Laberinto... Lo cierto es que me gustaría poder disfrutar de Roxy en solitario, pero no puedo ser egoista, y debo dejar que todos disfruten de los eventos felices.

Lilia no tardó en llevarse a Roxy al baño, para ayudarla a asearse debido al agotado cuerpo de mi Shishou.

Mientras se encontraban en eso, andaba dándole vueltas a cómo ayudar a Roxy de alguna forma mientras rondaba su puerta, pero Vera me echó del lugar avisándome que no queda bonito que alguien esté dando vueltas en la puerta del cuarto de una chica que se está lavando.

¿Acaso insinúa que tenía algún motivo oculto para hacer eso? ¡Tan solo quería ayudarla de alguna forma! ¡En serio! ¡Solo eso! ..... Aunque bueno, no puedo negar que debido al extravío de sus bragas se me puede considerar un delincuente con antecedentes... pero... ¡Soy inocenteeeee! ¡Lo Juro!

Estuve tentado de hacérselo saber a Vera, y ayudar con alguna cosa, como la colada de Roxy, pero pensé que lo mejor sería que me contuviera.

.... Mejor no... Hablamos de mí... Estoy seguro que si tuviera delante mía la colada de Roxy limpita para doblarla, mi mano no podría resistir la tentación de abalanzarse sobre el clon de la Reliquia Sagrada para añadirla a mi templo privado... No me creo capaz de silenciar las voces en mi cabeza gritándome que lo hiciera...

Así que... como TODAVÍA soy inocente, mejor me voy.

Por otra parte, me da la sensación de que Roxy necesitará varios días de descanso para recuperarse; aunque, teniendo en cuenta que es una aventurera consumada, es posible que simplemente tras dormir un poco y comer bien se acabe recuperando antes, después de todo, no ha sufrido daños y era capaz de mantenerse en pie.

Por lo que es probable que en ese aspecto, sea menos de lo que pienso.

Pero vaya... nada más verla, lo primero que hago es vomitar delante de ella... espero que no haya afectado a su imagen de mí. Pero es que no me esperaba que se hubiera olvidado de mí, fue un shock increíble........ Estuve rondando su habitación nuevamente con la intención de ser el primero en darle los buenos días cuando despertara, pero Lilia fue la que me echó en esta ocasión para que la dejara descansar. No me defendí porque al menos conseguí llevarme un precioso primer plano de la cara de Roxy mientras dormía.

Con eso me vale... espero que despierte pronto.

Al día siguiente, Roxy ya se había despertado y bajó a la mesa en la que estábamos desayunando.

"¡Roxy-sensei! ¡Buenos días...!"

"Ah, Ludy-... Ludeus-san, buenos... días."

En la mesa nos encontrábamos tan solo Elinalise, Paul, Talhand y yo, el resto estaban ocupados de compras.

Nuestra organización indica que el grupo que explora principalmente reposa cuando se encuentra en la ciudad, mientras que es el grupo base el que se encarga de obtener materiales y herramientas para repetir la exploración. La única excepción es Gisu, que por algún motivo se encarga de organizar al grupo base.

Parece del tipo de persona que le gusta trabajar, o quizás sea que simplemente se esfuerza mucho... ¿no le iría mejor si dejara de ser aventurero y se metiera a director u organizador de algún gremio o algo similar?

"Chicos..."

Todos se encontraban observando a Roxy desde la mesa, al ver que su expresión parecía que quería decir algo importante. Lo que hizo a continuación la loli-maga fue inclinarse ante todos y cada uno de los presentes de manera individual.

Por como lo ha dicho, parece que Paul se pensara que soy un loco peligroso... pero es que de verdad pude sentir dónde se encontraba Roxy por algún motivo en cuanto llegamos a la tercera planta; además de sentir que se encontraba en problemas.

Debido a esa situación de estrés, no me lo pensé 2 veces y corrí en línea recta haciendo caso a mi presentimiento sin importarme causar derrumbes por el camino, explotando todas las paredes en mi camino.

Aunque sigo sin comprender cómo pude sentir eso... Pero por algún motivo, estaba seguro de que era Roxy. No me cabe duda de que la relación tan fuerte que tengo con Roxy fue lo que nos hizo encontrarnos; seguro que ha sido eso...

Pero... aunque solo sea un poco, pienso que Hitogami quizás tuvo algo que ver, aunque no lo creo. Solo hay un Dios en mi religión... ¡Ah, claro! ¡Como la Diosa Roxy estaba en problemas, lo que recibí fue un presagio divino! ¡Eso tendría sentido!

Mientras avanzábamos por el 2º piso, Talhand me comentó que a Roxy le gustaba utilizar este hechizo y decidí imitarla. Pero al observar la expresión de Roxy, parece que de verdad cree que utilicé el hechizo del que habla.

... ¿Debería decirle que se equivoca? Teniendo en cuenta que Roxy está especializada en hechizos de la escuela de Agua, es posible que la deje en evidencia si lo digo así... ¿Será mejor que le diga una mentira piadosa? "¿Qué más da? Tanto la Shishou como su discípulo son increíbles, ¿no es eso lo que importa?"

La persona que pronunció estas palabras no fue otra que Paul.

¡Eso ha quedado genial, papá! ¡Tienes razón! Yo no soy nadie tan especial, pero para mí, Roxy lo es; ¿Qué más da que haya algunas cosas en las que sea un poco mejor que ella? Hay cosas que jamás habría hecho sin Roxy, y eso es lo que importa.
