Kino no Tabi ( キノの旅 -the Beautiful World-, Kino no Tabi - the Beautiful World-?) ist eine Serie von japanischen Light Novels, geschrieben von Keiichi Sigsawa, illustriert von Kōhaku Kuroboshi. Zwei Anime-Serien existieren, die auf den Light Novels basieren.

Zusammenfassung

Das Ziel ist ein Zustand des Geistes. Die Geschichte eines Mädchens, ihres Motorrads und der Straße. Kino reist auf Hermes, ihrem anthropomorphen Motorrad, um die Welt und bleibt nur drei Tage in jedem Land. Auf ihren Abenteuern finden sie Glück, Traurigkeit, Schmerz, Dekadenz, Gewalt, Schönheit, Weisheit. Aber durch all das verlieren sie nicht ihren Sinn für Freiheit. Sie entdecken, dass die Unvollkommenheiten der Welt eigentlich ihre Schönheit sind. "Die Welt ist nicht schön, also ist sie es."
