Ancient Magic Arc Volume 1: Prologue

Prologue

The world is filled with many mysteries from the past, that have many kinds of tales that have been told to every person around the world with their many different cultures, races, and beliefs.

There exist many different kinds of tales, histories, and stories of kings, heroes, and saviors and in every kind of the tale there will be some kind of lyrics, remnants, and weapons with unknown power.

All of this has been told that it were scattered all over the world and its location was unknown and were to remain as a mystery to all who searched and even forgotten, but then will all of the things that have been left by their previous owner or master appear once again in the world once a danger appears and threatens the world? No one will know about it and what will happen when that time comes, ether it will come today, tomorrow, a year, 10th year, 100th year or even many year later.

Plop! a sound of a closed book, in a quiet simple room with not many things inside, In this room is an old wooden table, fireplace, old bed, wooden cooking wares, a big water jar and a small wooden box, even the place it-self is made from wood.

"Ha........, as always I like this type of story, it gives people dreams and hope. This book has long been forgotten, 10 years ago, I was 6 years old and found it while playing around in town, it was left in a back alley."

I then went into a deep train of thought of the things that are of this present time.

As of now in this world, people can use magic and we also have association with many other races, cultures, and beliefs, as of now people have lived their life fully and peacefully in this present time but even so this world is not as kind as I think it is.

There are still people who are treated unfairly, badly, and even some people have been secretly sold off as slaves thrue the black market, this world is not as safe as is looks. Also, most of the people that have been treated like that are mostly poor people, people without power or magic power.

"Aaaaaaahaaa......."

Then I give out a big sigh, as I am one of the people that were also treated that way for 10 years of my life, but I survived until now, I can even attend and study at the "Sellion" magic school for middle ranking magicians, although I am a drop out of the school but I still can barely achieve the average passing grade for this middle rank, but I have been told by the teacher in the school that it will be very difficult and it almost impossible for me to continue my study as a high magician with the low magic capacity that I have, I even can barely cast middle rank magic spells, and in the magic school the criteria of the grading are the paper test to see of our understanding of magic, the practical test consisting of one on one and team battle to see how we can put on a good use of all the spells that we have learned in our study.

In one on one battle the grading is seen as in how we use the spell and the time for casting the spell to fight with each other, and for the team battle the grades are being seen as in how we can work in a group with other people with different kind of tactic that can be used to fight with the other team.

I did best on my paper test, but was mostly week in my practical test, as I have always lost in both of the battles, and because of that I was always being hated by the other students who see me as bad luck or a parasite if I was put in their team.

"Aaaaaaahaaa......."

Than now I have my second sigh, when than I come back from my long thought than I realize of the time when I look around the room and see outside the window the sky have become dark and I have feel tired from my long thought, and also I have a class tomorrow so I better sleep now so I can wake up early although I don't fill like to go to school because of this thought.

"Also I say that I still need to sleep."

Then I turn of the lamp and want to sleep.
