Tsukumodo Antique Shop
Tsukumodo Antique Shop -handling "mysteriosities"- (付喪堂骨董店―“不思議”取り扱います Tsukumodou Kottouten - "Fushigi" Toriatsukaimasu) is a light novel series written by Akihiko Odou and illustrated by Takeshi Masatoshi. The series is finished with 7 volumes.
The Tsukumodo series is also available in German.
Story Synopsis
"Fate can be altered, but it always tries to regain its original shape."
In our world there are objects that go by the name "relics". Not antiques or items of classical art, but mysterious things like a stone that brings luck, a doll whose hair grows night after night, or a mirror that shows your future appearance.
The world is big and so there happens to be a shop that offers such suspicious items -- the Tsukumodo Antique Shop (FAKE). But as the name suggests, only fakes can be found there. To make matters worse, the merchant of that shop is an unsociable girl, so the store hardly has any customers at all. However, from time to time a real relic appears and makes things interesting.
Very well then, let us talk about the lucky -- or unlucky -- people who have obtained one of those strange items.
