Yuuri: Hey Shouri, do you know where my new socks are?
Shouri: Call me oniichan.[1]
Yuuri: Ah? I don't want to. C'mon~ Shouri my sooocks~~
Shouri: Don~t be so dependent on others~ Also, how would I know where your socks are? Go and look in your room.
Yuuri: They're not in my room. Eh? What are you reading?
FX:*takes book off Shouri's hands*
Yuuri: "Easy guide to understanding everything about Pandas"
Shouri: Give it back!
Yuuri: Why are you suddenly interested in reading a book about pandas?
Shouri: I need it in order to get the girl I'm after.
Yuuri: Of course you're talking about one in a game, right? What is it this time? Are you playing a scene about a girl who likes pandas ?
Shouri:*laughs* Don't take me so lightly, Yuuri. The protagonist of this game, RanRan-chan, was cursed by an evil wizard. And unbelievably, when she enters a bathtub with warm water in it she turns into a panda![2]
Yuuri: Eh?
Shouri: And when cold water touches her, she goes back to her usual self.
Yuuri: Eh... I have heard that somewhere...
Shouri: But you have to be careful! When the heroine changes into a panda, she doesn't behave like a human at all. After being touched by the water, her brain is like the one of a panda. In those circumstances, you have to make her like you. In short, in order to be liked by RanRan, you have to do the things that real pandas would like. - ↑ Oniichan. A cute way of saying "big brother". Shouri is always asking Yuuri to call him that, and Yuuri always refuses, much like he refuses to call his mother "mom", instead of "mother".
- ↑ Ranma 1/2 reference. An anime/manga where the characters are cursed and they turn into animals when cold water touches them. They return to their original form when warm water touches their skin. It's the opposite in Shouri's game. Also in Ranma the characters keep their personalities intact regardless of their form.
- ↑ The word Shouri uses for "distorted" also means "perverted" which is how Yuuri is using it.
