why Mummy Maker's cursed tool is named after its English reading whereas Fear's mechanism by its English translation ? Mikia (talk) 13:55, 14 January 2013 (CST)

First of all, there's a difference. The furigana for "Chupacabra Bandage" is written out using katakana, whereas Fear's mechanisms are spelled out in English. However, some of the English is spelt wrong, punctuated strangely, or not as descriptive as kanji, hence I believe some liberties should be taken (as the previous translator did as well) in some cases.

Please have a look at the Terminology page and write on the Talk page there if you have better suggestions.

Also, on the main page, I'm considering translating the Japanese chapter titles instead of using the English quotes given in the Tables of Contents. Some of them are a bit Engrishy, after all. Of course the English "version" could still be kept in the chapter page as a subtitle or tagline, just not on the main page as the chapter link.
