Ending[edit]

so it finally ended and it's great that the ending ended with a harem end but kinda feel disappointed with the final fight, oh well it still a great series.. Ren (talk) 02:29, 9 October 2014 (CDT)

The ending feels so rushed. Did it get axed? - RasteShelphyd (talk)

Yes. The ending seems like it was rushed , i expected a volume detailing Chiharu's involvement in the Underworld politics or atleast something about things related to his dad and his death.I even expected the volume 5 would show more debuts or things about his mom. It such a sad thing that a good LN ended so quickly , atleast the ending was nice!User_talk:Ashwathdragon

Project Status[edit]

Just curious but shouldn't this have already been upgraded from a teaser project by now seeing that volume 1 is nearly complete and all. Zeikuu (talk) 15:06, 27 August 2013 (CDT)

Someone please check the status in Japan of this series. I've yet to read the notes at volume 5 (as well as the whole volume, same with 4 and the untranslated parts of 3), but since the book has less chapters, the epilogue has no title, the last illustration bugs me and there's no info about any 6th volume, it may very well be that it has ended.--Kemm (talk) 10:44, 3 March 2014 (CST)

Oi, oi. What the fvck happened here? It turns into some half-assed Indonesian translation project. - RasteShelphyd (talk)

I reverted it back. I think guy was trying to set up an alternative language page and messed up. -Winlex (talk) 06:11, 30 July 2014 (CDT)

Volume 5[edit]

Is it over in 5 volume? (because that last pic in vol. 5 make me think so)--Endo (talk) 12:44, 14 April 2014 (CDT)

Just read my previous comment on this page. The answer is "I won't know until I translate volume 5, but chances are goo that it is".--Kemm (talk) 12:45, 14 April 2014 (CDT)

Um... If you have the fifth volume, what's problem to just read the epilogue and tell us? Gamer (talk) 04:33, 4 May 2014 (CDT)

Basically? My policy of not reading the ending of a story until I reach it. If I read it, it would spoil me all the fun, so I most probably would stop translating this. Do you want that?--Kemm (talk) 06:49, 4 May 2014 (CDT)
I see, you haven't read the book yourself yet. It figures then. As for me, I thought you'd already finished the series. =_= Gamer (talk) 11:00, 4 May 2014 (CDT)

levels[edit]

this is realy vexing me for i fail to grasp wether a hich or a low lv is good

and the stats aren't exactly helpful either is it from the top s,a,b,c or the other way around....

yet how could 'A' be the second highest rank if the girls all go with b's and a's while haveing such low lv's...

please anyone sell me in on that...

whats more is that i fail to comprihend how the niphilem, which are supposed to exel in strength, can lose out to the ghouls

or how does the miotaur lose out in the stats while being cut above Iris or Kyouko in terms of level...

as i said someone please enlighten me

'Stats' and levels are not connected. Stats only refer to latent abilities. Level refers to how well you've developed them.

From what I know, it follows the typical format of S,A,B,C,D,E and level up. I take that the stats are inherent for each monster (or species) and indicates a range (meaning one monster with B strength can be stronger than another one with B, but never than one with A, always speaking of equal levels), while level could be taken as a "multiplier". Properly speaking, it would mean that each class stat (the letter, I mean) holds a different value at different levels (a B strength level 10 monster is stronger than a S strength level 1 monster).--Kemm (talk) 11:34, 8 June 2014 (CDT)

thx so far, pretty decent explained and well thought, but i am affraid it is flawed...see how Zomnis power level = '9 x C' yet she took the minotaure's attack head on whiche was launched with '7 x A'. so unless 2 levels make up for two power level thats implausible... and whats more is when two tiny, puny levels have such an effekt than one could drop the whole parting the attributes into ranges, since they are pretty much useless.
--Mumiah (talk) 19:48, 8 June 2014 (CDT)
In truth, you have to take into account that Zonmi has C strength and A power while the Minotauros has A stength and C power. Since both stats were used when they parried each other (C strength against C power and A strength against A power), what we have to keep in mind is that the enforcing made up for the 2-level difference.--Kemm (talk) 08:53, 9 June 2014 (CDT)
ahh my fail; i ignored that stregth and power are seperated in here just than, sorry about that...yeah how the contract changes the scales is obvious; yet what would power may indicate? what is more when your right the levels that are a given in the profile of the race would not belong to the race itself, but specimen; whiche is pretty confusing. --Mumiah (talk) 12:14, 9 June 2014 (CDT)
I cannot say for sure, but seeing that "Strentgh" is written as "physical strength" and "power" as "power", I think that the first is "constitution" (it affects HP, resistances and fatigue) while the second is "Strength" properly (weigth they can carry and damage that they cause); "speed" would be "dexterity" (movement speed, accuracy and evasion). The fact that, while red dragons are the strongest race of dragon (keep in mind "as a race"), it's marked as level 1 would suggest that the levels indicated belong to the specific individual (so would do the stats, but those would have less variability between members of the same race). (Common attribute names)--Kemm (talk) 13:35, 9 June 2014 (CDT)
well either way its all pretty cryptic...but once you started taking such parables, you could think of the S's,A's,B's as no more than potentials like 'main stats'. ... well never mind that; i get that zomni could have leveled up in the nether world, yet why found Kyouko starts at lv 7, while Iris is lv 1.... mayhaps we will be lucky enough to get some real explanation on all that stuff not just guessing--Mumiah (talk) 17:56, 9 June 2014 (CDT)
Since Iris is just 12 yo and lost all of her clan five years ago (7 yo), she has probably never been properly trained (her fight against Zonmi went like that due to compatibility and she only won against the Minotauros because her opponent was already tired and she had just received Chiharu's boost, wich was stronger than Clarie's). Kyouko, instead, shows signs of having being trained (she owns a magical weapon and has a defined fighting style) and her father has said that she was the Nephilim with the highest battle power.--Kemm (talk) 06:34, 10 June 2014 (CDT)
On the other hand you need to keep in mind that Iris survived 5 years on her own, as the last of her clan, and from what i dedused from her story without a patron so... yet you are right about Kyouko, yet i am quite currious as to how that training might have been like, since she doesnt seem to have spend much time in the nether world yet, but how would such beings train in the "human world"... --Mumiah (talk) 13:15, 10 June 2014 (CDT)
