Streszczenie Historii

To nie jest typowa historia o życiu licealisty! Kyon jest uczniem pierwszej klasy Północnej szkoły średniej. Za nim siedzi inteligentna, energiczna i bardzo znudzona Suzumiya Haruhi, która przedstawia się jako osoba nie mająca zainteresowania w "normalnych ludziach" i że wszyscy obcy, podróżujący przez czas, skaczący między wymiarami, albo mający inne nadprzyrodzone siły mają do niej się przyłączyć. Dlaczego jest tak wybredna co do "normalnych ludzi"? "Przecież ludzie w ogóle nie są zabawni!" Kyon szybko wplątuje się w zamiary tej niezwykłej dziewczyny, by zmienić życie na bardziej interesujące i szybko odkrywa, że świat jest o wiele bardziej niesamowity niż Haruhi będzie mogła sobie kiedykolwiek wyobrazić.
