Bar. The way the Italians pronounced the word was to drag out the 'a' out a little more. lol japaneses really don't know foreign languages.

The original sentence basically said... 'バル。イタリア風にいえばバールとなる。' So I just translated what it said exactly. Florza (talk) 03:53, 17 November 2012 (CST)

Makes you wonder why the LN author bothered adding in this little tidbit. Seems pointless --Lighthalzen (talk) 04:47, 17 November 2012 (CST)

"At any rate, it was a restaurant that combined the elements of a cafe, bar and an eatery." - eatery sounds awkward ... maybe snack ?

It doesn't sound awkward to me, an eatery is a place you go to eat, so you can't replace it with snack :/ the only way you could replace it would be to expand it to say tables and chairs, but "eatery" is nice and concise.--Drowzycow (talk) 08:53, 23 November 2012 (CST)
