(Useless?) Encouragement -- Feel free to delete this anytime[edit]

Take it easy. Keep up the good work. And thank you for your effort. I didn't read your translation yet, but plan to do it soon (that's why I say this maybe useless) --Hypernova 11:24, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

i just read the first chapter. it's pretty interesting! keep up the good work, it's okay as long as you don't abandon the project. -- RandomPasserBy

Updates![edit]

I've added the link to wikipedia, to the C3 page that I've created. Please refer to "story synopsis". It's not complete yet, but I plan to add more info. I'll try to update asap. n_n

Illustrations[edit]

Since this is no longer stalled, i will give my blessings by editing vol 1 illustrations in the near future, and editing them as translation progresses. --Krytyk (talk) 09:19, 15 January 2013 (CST)

Thank you for your support. --Zzhk (talk) 16:38, 15 January 2013 (CST)

Question about Updates Section[edit]

What is the difference between using {{:CubexCursedxCurious:Updates}} and just manually typing the updates out on the main page? I assume you still have to type out the updates on the other page to, correct? I'm merely curious as to if there is any benefit in doing it a certain way or if it's just preferance. Thanks, Kory 08:47, 2 June 2013 (CDT)

In terms of results, no difference. Either way, you still need two pages.

There are two common approaches: 1) Edit the main page whenever there is an update. Move the updates to an archive page when the list gets too long. 2) Edit only the updates page and control what's displayed on the main page using the <noinclude></noinclude> tag.

Approach No.2 is slightly more efficient in that you confine update edits to one page and you don't need to move text from one page to another. --Zzhk (talk) 09:22, 2 June 2013 (CDT)

Okay. Another project I'm working on never has its updates displayed so I was thinking about doing something about it. Decided on option 2. Thanks for the info. Kory 09:43, 2 June 2013 (CDT)

The most recent chapter name edits[edit]

Volume 3's chapter names were just changed to the present tense. I personally think that they now sound much more awkward and should be reverted. Also as you may know, two and three letter words in titles should not be capitalized. Edit: On second thought present tense might feel fine once the short words are correctly de-capitalized. Edit again: actually there doesn't seem to be any truly correct way to capitalize a title, but leaving the words that are less than four letters long and not at the beginning or end of the title in lower case seems like a good standard. Dright (talk) 22:27, 6 June 2013 (CDT)

If you go by either the Chicago Manual of Style or the Associated Press, the first word of the title, the last word of the title, and all nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives are all capitalized in titles. The details only differ in how conjunctions and prepositions are handled (AP capitalizes them only if they are 4 or more characters long).

Anyway, long story short, "Is" and "Was" need to be capitalized because they are verbs. It's a very common error, however. --Zzhk (talk) 23:50, 6 June 2013 (CDT)

My mistake then, feel free to delete this section. Keep up the good work! Dright (talk) 13:05, 8 June 2013 (CDT)

No, it's a perfectly valid concern to raise. I suppose this is one case where the "correct" standard actually looks less natural. --Zzhk (talk) 19:34, 8 June 2013 (CDT)

Congratulations on translating the series.[edit]

You can delete this if needed, but I just wanted to offer my thanks for finishing translating this series. I think I can speak for other C3 fans when I say that I am grateful for your hard work in doing this. Good luck in whatever else you decide to translate.

Is it finished?[edit]

I see in the afterwords to the volumes mention of C3 Cube x Cursed x Curious short stories published one in-between each novel. Has anyone attempted to obtain and translate those? C2equalA2plusB2 (talk) 02:01, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

That's what Volumes 7 and 13 are: collections of short stories that were originally published in magazines. --Zzhk (talk) 08:25, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
