Tranlation help

「いま紅茶を淹れますから、テイ丨夕イムにしませんこと?」- couldn't translate...can somebody help? --Chancs

"Honestly, the ball was nothing but trivial." I think 'trouble' sounds better here? Don't think the ball would have been just trivial to Kamito in the past, but a major hassle, with him still hiding his true gender and all. --Drowzycow (talk) 09:50, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

"i'll pour the black tea now, so want to make it tea time now?"--RikiNutcase (talk) 09:53, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

"Because I'm brewing some red tea now, would you care for some?" Or something like that. Koto after a verb should be a suggestion type sentence. Florza (talk) 09:55, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

then テイタイムにしません=why dont we make it tea time??? and this is most probably rinslet talking so the ojou-sama tone is in it i think --RikiNutcase (talk) 09:57, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

That makes no sense in English speech. Florza (talk) 10:08, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

.....now im confused. "いま紅茶を淹れますから、テイ丨夕イムにしませんこと?" i thought that the second part of the sentence meant tea time?--RikiNutcase (talk) 10:11, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

Wait, that was my mistake, misread the tense, my bad. Revised - "I'll brew some red tea, so shall we have tea?" <- Probably closer. In English 'teatime' refers to the time itself, so 'make it teatime' doesn't really make sense, you can't change time. But it works that way in JP... Florza (talk) 10:19, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

i see..... well that's some load of my shoulders lol--RikiNutcase (talk) 10:22, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

"I'll brew some black tea, so, shall we have some?" avoiding repetitive usage of "tea". Thanks for the help. --Chancs (talk) 13:47, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

「さすが王女殿下、紅茶の楽しみかたをよくわかっていますわね」 I translated this as "As one would expect My Lady, drinking your tea has filled me with immense pleasure.", but am not sure. Any suggestions? --Chancs (talk) 04:30, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

"As expected of your Royal Highness, you truly understand the way to enjoy black tea." Something like that. Florza (talk) 04:59, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

But assuming Carol to be the one speaking, doesn't she always address Rinslet as "My Lady" ? And also none in the group calls her that way. I got confused for the first part because of this. But your second part is much more convincing. Thanks --Chancs (talk) 05:34, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

Yes, Carol does refer to Rinslet as ojou-sama/Milady. This is actually Rinslet speaking to Fianna, from the forms used. And it's gotta be convincing, cause that's what she said, after all. Florza (talk) 05:42, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

Oh right...I forgot about Fianna. Will keep that in mind. I will change it as suggested above. Thanks for the help :) --Chancs (talk) 05:46, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

General

Before all that. Is this chapter complete with just this much. I seriously doubt that. Someone check please. Zero2001 - Talk - 20:10, 17 October 2012 (CDT)

This chapter isn't complete. I am doing page wise translation and posting them here. --Chancs (talk) 23:32, 17 October 2012 (CDT)

Can you also give a rough percentage or the fraction of pages translated? (See: Template:Incomplete for parameter details). It would be helpful and reassuring for us readers and editors. Zero2001 - Talk - 07:09, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

That will be too embarrassing. Everyone will know about my slow speed. :P
