I haven't been completely dedicated for a while... mostly because of school and my current interest (headphones... I know...). There's also me reading manga/anime, but recently I've watched Oreimo and have been motivated once more!

Best current, action-oriented manga that I can think of right now is Akame ga Kiru!. It's similar to Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but it doesn't have the alchemy and has a harem. Koko ga Uwasa no El Palacio is a recent manga that I've picked up and liked. The same can go for Tripeace.

High School DxD. One of a kind. Well... a lot of them here are great!
Visual Novel(s)
Majikoi is one of the few that I've watched (it's both a VN and an anime). Ever 17: The Out of Infinity was pretty good. Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life was a tearjerker.
Anime
There are a lot out there, so I can't think of one instantly. I prefer romance, mech, and comedy. A good plot is much welcomed. MM! would be a great example.
