Great translation, man! Keep up! Kira (Talk) 16:53, 15 December 2011 (CST)

Thanks for the compliment! But actually I find that I'm not that good at translating cultural references or names. =/ Zephyrus

Naw, you are doing good. Just leave the rest to em' editors. I'll take a look too into that matter- so just chill out and keep up the good work --Novium 21:09, 15 December 2011 (CST)

Ok, so I did have a quick look and edited about 30% of the first chapter. I don't have a Cambridge degree in English or anything so I'd like an impression before I continue. You will notice that I actually changed the wording in some places to get a better flow. If this is up to par and your liking - just gimme a holler and I'll do more. If not...there is always the undo-button! xD

Hey zephyrus nice work on the LN, btw if you would like a proofreader/editor I wouldn't mind going over it, I just need to find the necessary raws first. --J112 23:08, 15 December 2011 (CST)

It's okay for you to edit it. I'd love to have some help. There might be some flaws in my translations as I'm translating from a Chinese source, and not Japanese. --Zephyrus

Ok well if its okay with you I'll be proofing from japanese raws, and Ill send any revisions to you to cross check, that way I dont misread something and screw up your translations, though I won't be able to start until I can find the japanese raws--J112 02:50, 16 December 2011 (CST)

Alright, got it. Zephyrus

If it's alright with you, I can upload the illustations for the volumes sometime tomorrow. will wait for our ok before I begin -- ff7_freak

I'm okay with that. Thanks for your help! -- Zephyrus

Uploaded the images for vol 2 and 3 of kamisama no memochou. Will try to upload volume 4-7 tomorrow. -- ff7_freak

Got it. Thanks for the good work! Zephyrus

only have vol 6 illustrations to upload. have to join some of the images, so they should be up withing the next couple of days. -- ff7_freak

Wow, impressive speed! Thanks for Kamimemo, it'll give me something nice to read on the bus ride back. Good luck with the rest of the volume! :D - HolyCow

Thanks~ I'll do my best! =) Zephyrus 07:48, 25 December 2011 (CST)

A Loyal Reader:

Hi, just wanna say, please get to work on Kamisama no Memochou if you can. I'm a fan of the series, and I really wanna read Volumes 5,6, and 7. They seem pretty good (on Wikipedia), and I can't wait!

About vol 1 chapter 7 of kamimemo When Alice says that "the pain of a hikkomori is En extension of the Exponentional function she is talking about math. Simply put; the longer along the x value something is, the higher the y value would become. In Alice case x:time, y;pain. 10 -potence and logarithmic scale are other examples of this. Basically she is saying that it hurts more the longer she is outside. Here is a very simple example

Thanks for clearing that up! Zephyrus 00:00, 29 December 2011 (CST)

Man, you rock. Happy New Year, and don't overexert yourself. --Rock96 08:08, 2 January 2012 (CST)

I can try to finish the first chapter and continue for a bit if you're busy, but I'm really clumsy and slow so I don't think I can finish the volume, heheh. Good look with Iris, I'll read it!--Abril 11:20, 7 January 2012 (CST) Don't worry about me (right now I'd just slow you down), please continue from where I left off! I'm looking forward to your translations! --Abril 13:52, 15 January 2012 (CST)

Thank you[edit]

Man thanks for tsurugi no joou ^^.

Thanks a lot for your translations of Iris and Kamisama and...I seriously can't wait to read your translation of Papa ni Iukoto if you ever do it. --MaerisCrisis 14:36, 5 January 2012

Thanks for the translation of Iris. I have waiting for it :) - Random Lurker

A big thank you for translating Kamisama no Memochou. I'm brimming in anticipation for what happens next to Ayaka :P -Anonymous Reader

Thanks for your hardwork Zephyrus san ^^ Tony Yon 09:34, 15 February 2012 (CST)

To quote a member on AS who asked me to thank you:

BTW - I assume you are in touch with Zephyrus now and again? (He is working on kam-memochou and papa no iu koto LN over on baka-tsuki, as you know.) ... Could you do me the favor of passing on lots of thanks to him as well for his translation work - when you remember, though ... no "pressure", or such.--Teh Ping 01:49, 6 March 2012 (CST)

I was just thinking about dropping you a line when I got your message, heheh. Oh, so v8 hasn't been translated into chinese yet? That's weird, I always thought chinese translations were usually super fast. Anyway, I'm glad to be of help, and of course, feel free to correct anything you think is off, since you're something like my senpai after all lol. Oh, I almost forgot the reason why I wanted to send you a message; I just finished reading your translation of volume 4 and I wanted to tell you that you did great justice to my favorite volume, you conveyed the feeling really well. I even got teary-eyed especially at the end! lol. I hope one day my translations reach your level and speed. Aaand I got carried away haha. Take care! :) --Abril 13:19, 17 April 2012 (CDT)

Many thanks for all the translating you've done. Looking forward to Papakiki, which I wouldn't rightly be able to have started enjoying without your help. - A Reader

Thankyou for the volumes 1-4 of Kamisama no Memochou!! Good work! I hope you'll get around to do v5 onwards. I'm really grateful for these translations. =] --Molten2metal 00:53, 31 July 2012 (CDT)

thanks for your hard word :) i've not seen u around for a bit and now i was wondering. will u restart working on papakikki and kamisama or will u continue on tsurugi? obviusly if u have the time :) ps: sorry for the bad english :P

Hmm, I'll probably get back to kamimemo. Having said that, I'm kinda busy these days, so I can't say that when I'll do it. Papakiki and tsurugi no joou will have to wait as well, unfortunately. I'll get to them someday, hopefully. --Zephyrus (talk) 07:30, 10 April 2013 (CDT)

Papakiki illustrations[edit]

Thanks, Haven't had the oppertunity to upoad more of the images due to being on holidays with limited internet. Will resume uploading when I get home in the next 3-5 days. Enjoy reading a lot of the projects you do, and uploading images is one of the few things I can do to help--Ff7 freak 22:37, 21 January 2012 (CST)

Uploaded volume 2 images. Plan on uploading the rest in the next few days or so.--Ff7 freak 05:48, 30 January 2012 (CST)

About Hina's speech is it ”Hina wants…… Mnn~ Erm~ Hanburg steak!” or ”Hina wants…… Mnn~ Erm~ Hamburg steak!”? (Volume 2, Chapter 5) I do realize that Hina can't pronounce words like the rest of the cast in Papakiki, but is it true in this case as well? Is hanburg intentional or a small typo? -Hiro Hayase 19:38, 1 March 2012 (CST)

It's not a typo, actually Hanburg and Hamburg in Japanese are the same.. Since the symbol " ン " in katakana signifies N/M.. so, " ハンバーガー " is read as Hanbaga/Hambaga but means the same.. -LightMusic_Club 16:55, October 2012

Please, please, PLEASE work on Kami Memo ㅠㅠ. Any volume is fine at any pace ㅠㅠ

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko[edit]

Hi there. Magykalman here. Can I request to be the editor of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko? I mean if its approved. :) And another thing, can I help translate Denpa from the Chinese version of it? As in the Official Chinese version selling out there. :D --Magykalman 11:00 , 8 September 2012 (CDT)

Ah yeah hi there again. Magykalman here. Really a very lousy translator, and I have quite a few terms that I don't really understand, but I think I'll just ask for the main one. What does "淑女车" literally translate to? Like is there a specific term for it or something? Cause the best I could do was to translate it into "Female Bicycles" and I found it really awkward...So mind if you help me out a little? Thx. -- Magykalman 21:30, 10 September 2012 (CDT)

Tsurugi no Joou to Rakuin no Ko[edit]

Thank you so much for the updates. 3 chapters in a span of two days. Amazing. Oh, I am then putting your name in the active mode of the translators. Say if otherwise. --Chancs (talk) 09:13, 30 September 2012 (CDT)

Does Tsurugi have illustrations? none have shown up so far... --Saganatsu (talk) 09:51, 30 September 2012 (CDT)

Yo Zephyrus, happy to see you again. Wanted to say that for image files, I think it is better to add a Tsurugi_no_Jou before and add the volume name, like TnJ_V1_img130 or something in order to not confuse the names. Kira (Talk) 16:08, 4 October 2012 (CDT)

Thank you so much Zephyrus. I was waiting for it. Thanks thanks thanks :D --Chancs (talk) 07:08, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

Thanks. I enjoy the latest chapter. Really appreciate your translation Xenocross (talk) 10:01, 18 October 2012 (CDT)

Hello. I have a gift for you. Would you like me to apply it? Zero2001 - Talk - 23:00, 4 November 2012 (CST)

Oh... now that I've read your previous posts I noticed I've done what Kira suggested to you. I've renamed the images to more meaningful names, joined and uploaded the two page spread and made the changes in the illustration and chapter pages. Along with other edits that reduce the size of the page and thus allow it to be loaded faster. I look forward to working with you. Thanks for translating this series I was interested in reading it ever since I heard about it. Zero2001 - Talk - 23:07, 4 November 2012 (CST)

can i edit some of your chapters and make it more understandable for other readers Yumm - 10:07, 9 November 2012 (CST)

Thank you for picking up Tsurugi no Joou to Rakuin no Ko. I'm looking forward to your updates :)
Edit: After reading two more chapters, I have to say that your translation is probably one of the best on BT. The verbal level is quite high compared to other translations causing me to regularly look up words in a dictionary (my mother tongue is German), but that’s something I like very much. Keep up the excellent work :) --MK13 (talk) 03:19, 21 November 2012 (CST)

Thank you for translating Tsurugi no Joou to Rakuin no Ko. I'm looking forward to your updates :)
After reading almost all of the chapters, I like the way you translate I think your translation is the best on Baka-Tsuki (BT). Your translation is quite high in verbal level than the other translations sometimes it cause me to look up words in the dictionary (My mother tongue is Filipino). Overall your translation is excellent. Keep up the good work :)
I add some Novel Illustrations and Chapters however I didn't translate any chapters or translate the title of each chapter. --Bodlat25 (talk) 01:11, 19 December 2012 (CST)

The translations i have to say are great and of the highest quality, I (and everyone else i'm sure) would love it if you can translation the rest of the volumes of this epic story!

Hi your translations are quite good in having a blast reading this story are you still going to continue or has it been abandoned or is RL getting in the way

As you can see in this image since his official name is "Cristoforo" shouldn't his nickname be "Cris" (instead of Chris)? ClavelSangrante (talk)

No, I would advice sticking with Chirs. Firstly it is closer to intended pronunciation in English and secondly whenever I read Cris I just can´t not remember one scene from Majikoi (for the ones who read it I would only say that I don´t see much of difference between Cri and Cris).--Zuruumi (talk) 11:35, 25 March 2013 (CDT)

Papa kiki Russian[edit]

Hi, i'm translating Papa Kiki to Russian now, and some questions appear.

1) 1st vol. 1 chapter: “Don’t be doubtful, it’s true. Didn’t you see just now? She just went ‘sob sob sob’ like that by the road just now.”

It is going on when they went from pub or from club building? "just now" is confusing me.

2) 1st vol. 1 chapter: Not only in the school, but even the people from other colleges at the other end of the slope came to get a glimpse of her presence.

"other end of slope" - is other side of hill?

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko[edit]

Hello, I'm Janunu. nice to meet you. I was wondering if you have the Denpa Onna Novels. In case if you don't, I have volumes from 1 to 8 (in japanese), and I'll gladly send them if you want to translate them. Btw, I uploded the images for chapter one through, hope it helps.

PapaKiki LN Translation Continuation[edit]

Just wondering, are you still translating the PapaKiki? Sorry if I sound rude, but it seems the volume 4 progress is really slow, yet there is already about 12 volumes of the LN.

Pygmalion (talk) 10:18, 30 July 2013 (CDT)

inactivity[edit]

Good day,

We are doing some spring cleaning in our right groups (translator, editor, etc.), and people who have been inactive for more than a year are being removed. This unfortunatly appears to be your case.

I thank you for your past work ; if you come back someday and need those tools again, please contact Help:Administration_Contact_Page
