"Mushoku Tensei -Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu-" (無職転生 ～異世界行ったら本気だす～) es una novela ligera escrita por Rifujin na Magonote e ilustrada por Shirotaka. Actualmente por concluir, existen 26 volúmenes escritos por el autor en su página web y 6 volúmenes publicados por KADOKAWA / Media Factory en papel. Además, un manga basado en la novela está siendo publicado en Monthly Comic Flapper.

Sinopsis

Un hombre de 34 años [otaku] y además [NEET], es echado de su casa por su familia. Una persona sin ingresos, desaseado, sin forma física ni amistades íntimas se da cuenta de que ha tocado fondo y que no tiene muchas aspiraciones de futuro; dándose cuenta en este momento que su vida habría ido mejor si hubiera podido cambiar algunas de sus elecciones en la vida y busca la redención.

Justo en éste punto, vio como un camión a alta velocidad se dirigía hacia 3 jóvenes estudiantes de instituto. Usando todas sus fuerzas, consigue salvarlos a costa de su propia vida.

Cuando vuelve a abrir los ojos, se ve reencarnado en un mundo de espadas y magia bajo el nombre de Ludeus Greyrat. Renacido en un nuevo mundo, Ludeos decide que "Esta vez, viviré mi vida al máximo sin ningún tipo de remordimiento", comenzando su recorrido como un hombre nuevo. (Original sacado de animesuki.com)
