2			ぼうっとする頭がだんだんハッキリしてくると、 無意識のうちに枕元の時計を確認する。	As my foggy mind gradually clears up, I unconsciously check the bedside clock.
3			６時半。	Six thirty in the morning.
4			着替えて、朝食を摂って… 場合によってはその前にシャワーを浴びても、 まだ一コマ目に余裕で間に合う時間。	Still plenty of time to get dressed, eat breakfast... and depending on the situation, even take a shower before all that and still make it before first class.
5			…俺の『普通に大学へ行く』ときの起床時間だった。	...This is the time I usually wake up if I'm "going to school normally".

7			なるべく毛布をめくらないよう、 横にずれながらゆっくりとベッドを出る。	Taking care not to lift the blanket, I quietly slip out of bed from the side.
8			いつもならこの季節、 寒くて布団から離れたくないという堕落した思考が、 ほんのちょっとだけ頭をよぎったりする。	The usual thought of not wanting to leave my blanket, especially in this cold season, flashes across my mind.
9			今日も、離れたくない思いはいつもより強いけれど、 理由は『寒いから』じゃない。	Today, that thought of not wanting to leave is stronger than usual, but the reason is not because of the cold.

12			目が覚めて、ぼやけた頭を振って… 隣にあいつが寝ているのを見て、ああ、って思った。	Waking up, shaking off the hazy feeling in my head...and then watching her sleep next to me, I suddenly realized.
13			あれは夢でも、幻でもなかった。 そして誰の責任でも、何の影響でもない。	That it wasn't a dream or an illusion. Not anybody's responsibility and not influenced by anything.
14			俺の、選択だ。	It's my choice.

16			熱いシャワーが、俺から余計な記憶を奪う代わりに、 自分でも気づいていなかった傷にしみる。	The hot shower robs me of unneccessary memories, but in exchange, stings those wounds even I had not noticed.
17			首の後ろ、左の胸、両の手のひら、そして奥歯… 湯に触れていないところまで痛むのは、なんなんだろうな。	Back of my neck, left side of my chest, the palm of my hands, and even my back tooth... why is it hurting in places that aren't even touched by water?
18			そんな単純な謎をつい考え出してしまうと、結局、 せっかく熱さが奪ってくれた記憶がすぐに蘇ってしまう。	When I start to think about the answer to that simple mystery, the memories taken away by the heat all comes hurling back.
19			そうするとまた、湯が傷にしみる悪循環。 だけどもう、この痛みから逃れる術はない。	In so doing, the hot water stings again at my wounds. It's a vicious cycle. But there's already no way to escape from this pain.
20			俺、とうとう雪菜と…	At last, my relationship with Setsuna is...
21			本当に、壊れてしまったんだな。	In the truest sense, completely broken.

24			ベーコンの脂がしみ出してきたのを見計らい、 フライパンに卵を二つ落とす。	I wait until the oil seeps out of the bacon and drop two eggs into the frying pan.
25			油の跳ねる音に卵が焼き固まるときの音が加わり、 辺りにも香ばしい匂いが漂っていく。	A pleasant smell starts to linger in the air, along with the sounds of crackling oil and sizzling eggs.
26			オーブントースターは赤く染まり、 こちらも二枚のパンを焼き上げていき、 冷蔵庫に残った野菜はボウルに盛られていく。	The toaster oven turns red hot and browns two slices of bread. I take out the leftover vegetables in the fridge and serve them in a bowl.

29			どこかの誰かの間抜けな寝息を聞くと、 いやが上にも今の自分の状態を認識せざるを得ない。	Hearing someone's dopey breathing as she sleeps, I am further reminded of my current situation.
30			痛いはずなのに、実際痛いのに…	Even though it should hurt, even though it really does hurt...
31			それでも俺、いつも通りだ。	I'm still the usual me.
32			今までの“こんな日”は、こんなじゃなかった。	"These type of days" were not like this up until now.
33			普通でいることに必死だった。 いつもの自分を守ろうとして、 泣きそうな顔して歯を食いしばってた。	I would be struggling hard to protect my sanity. I would grit my teeth with a face about to cry, all the while trying to maintain my normal self.

35			それが今朝は、いつも通りの時間に起きて、 当たり前のように目覚ましのシャワーを浴びて、 何事もなかったかのように朝食まで作ってる。	But this morning, I woke up at the usual time, naturally took a morning shower, and even made breakfast as if nothing happened.
36			…量だけはいつも通りじゃなく、二人前。 けれど、そこまで気が回るところがいつも通り。	Only thing different is that I made food enough for two. But the fact that I even noticed that is also the same as always.

120			俺は、来客を放って外に出るわけにもいかず、 なるべく音を立てずに部屋を掃除して、 なるべく音を立てずに夕食の準備をして。	I couldn't just head out and leave my guest alone, so I began to clean my room as quietly as possible, prepared dinner as quietly as possible...
121			なるべく音を立てずに、 呑気に眠る和泉の寝顔をぼうっと眺めてた。	And as quietly as possible, watched Izumi's carefree, sleeping face.

130			いつもなら『なんという時間の無駄だ』なんて、 憤慨と後悔にまみれていたかもしれない一日。	If this were before, this would probably be a day where I would be filled with resentment and regret over doing nothing.

134			俺は、洗い物の途中で蛇口を止めて、 ぶつぶつ言いながらも和泉の対面じゃなく、 すぐ隣に座る。	I turn off the faucet and while complaining the whole way, take a seat not in front of Izumi, but beside her.

137			そして和泉は、 俺が寄り添ってくるのをわかっていたかのように… いや、当然わかっていたんだろうけれど。	And then, as if she knew I was coming close.... no actually, she obviously knew.
138			俺の胸に背中を預け、 その柔らかさと体温を伝えてくる。	Izumi leans her back to my chest, allowing me to feel her softness and warmth.

141	春希	Haruki	「そりゃ、今まで洗い物してたし」	"Well, I WAS washing the dishes."

143	春希	Haruki	「もったいない。 水でも十分汚れは落ちる」	"Such a waste. You can clean just fine with normal water."

147			俺の両手を掴むと、自分のお腹にあてがい、 両手で包み込んで、さすってくれる。	Taking both of my hands in hers, she places them on her stomach and rubs them gently.
148			こうなると当然、俺が和泉を背中から抱きしめる形になり、 俺たちは昨夜みたいに密着していく。	We naturally end up in a position where I'm hugging her from behind. Similar to last night, we become closer together.

159			テレビからは、相変わらず退屈な音波が、 垂れ流しにされてる。	Boring sound waves continue to flow out from the TV.
160			窓の外は、昨夜とは打って変わって、 この明るい街でもいくつか星が見えるほど、 晴れて、そして澄んでいる。	Outside the window, the skies are, in contrast to last night, clear to the point where one can see stars even in this brightly lit city.
161			部屋の中は、カレー鍋の熱の残りで、 寒いながらもほんのりとだけ温かい。	It is cold inside the room but the remaining heat from the curry pot gives off a little warmth.
162			でも、外の寒さとの比較はできない。 今日は、一度も外の寒さを経験していないから。	But I am unable to compare it to the coldness outside because I haven't left this room even once today.
163			ずっと『和泉が用意してくれた』自分の場所に… 外からの刺激が何もないところに逃げ込んでいたから。	Always staying in this "place prepared for me by Izumi"... running away from any outside stimulation.

167			かじかんでいた手が、 和泉と重ね合うことにより、 じわじわと感覚を取り戻していく。	Overlapped by Izumi's hands, sensation gradually returns to my cold hands.
168			昨日も、何度も顔を埋めた和泉の髪に さり気なく唇で触れ、 胸いっぱいにその香りを吸い込む。	Similar to yesterday, I bury my face in Izumi's hair many times, casually touching it with my lips and breathing in its fragrance.
169			ついさっきシャワーを浴びていた和泉の髪は、 俺の安物のシャンプーを使ったはずなのに、 嗅ぎ慣れない、いい匂いがする。	Even though Izumi, who just took a shower moments ago, must have used my cheap shampoo, her hair gives off a nice but unfamiliar scent.
170			髪だけでなく、俺の石鹸を使ったはずの肌も…	Not just her hair, but also her skin which used my soap...

175			和泉とくっつきあってるから、だけじゃなく、 こうして何もしていないことが、 いつもせわしない俺の焦燥感を煽る。	For someone like me who can't stay idle, spending all my time with Izumi and not doing anything like this is mounting my frustration.

177			昨日の酷い過ちと、今の状態の緩さが、 どうしても噛み合わないから。	I can't help but feel a discrepancy between yesterday's grave mistake and today's carefreeness.
