2			久しぶりに見た外の景色は、 闇に慣れてしまった目にはやたらと眩しかった。	My first glimpse of the scenery of the outside world in a while dazzles my eyes, having grown accustomed to the darkness of my room.
3			街中の大きすぎる喧騒も、 すれ違う人々の素早すぎる動きも、 世間から取り残された俺には、酷く恐ろしいものに映った。	The way I am now, having been abandoned by the world for a while, the hustle and bustle of the city intimidates me greatly — be it the obstreperous noise across town or the speed of the pedestrians passing by me.
4			...まぁ、外出してから一時間も経てば、 そんな浦島太郎気分からはめでたく解放されたけど。	...Well, it didn't take even an hour of going out before I was happily released from walking in Urashima Taro's shoes, though.
5			それからさらに数時間...	And a couple of hours have passed since then...
6			眩しいようでいて、 実は優しい陽射しでしかなかった空は、 そのままリアルタイムで黒く染まっていった。	The sky, seemingly blinding to me, but only radiating gentle sunlight in actuality, was slowly painted black with the passage of time.
7			あてもなく歩き続け、 外と触れあうリハビリが終わったと実感できたとき、 自然と足が向かっていたのがここだった。	After walking around aimlessly, I've naturally arrived here after gaining some semblance of confidence to end my rehabilitation of coming into contact with the outside world again.
8			グッディーズ南末次店。	Goodies, Minamisuetsugu branch.
9			外から、忙しそうに働く仲間たちを、 さっきからぼうっと眺めてた。	I’ve been outside watching my busy co-workers inside the shop the whole time.
10			峰城学園が大学、付属とも冬休みに入ったせいか、 いつもより客足は微妙に減っていたけれど、 その分バイトもきっちり減っていた。	The number of customers is slightly lower than usual, though — likely because both Houjou Academy's university and affiliate high school have entered winter break, as the the number of employees on shift is also accordingly lower, as well.
11			キッチンもホールも、誰一人手を休めている人はいない。 佐藤も、中川さんも、他の数少ないスタッフも。	I don’t see anyone resting in neither the kitchen nor the hall — not Satou, Nakagawa-san, or any of the remaining staff.
12			だから、ここなら... リハビリも、次の段階に進めるかもしれない。	So if I'm here... perhaps my rehabilitation may move on to the next stage.
13			外と触れあうのに慣れたら、 次は、外の中に入り込むリハビリに。	Once I'm used to brushing up against the edges of the outside world, I need to actually begin my rehabilitation to actually step out into it.
14			大学が冬休みに入っている以上、 これが、今の時期にできる最後の...	Since college is on winter vacation, this is the last thing I can do right now...
