5			それはまるで、永い永い眠りから覚めた お姫様やＳＦ小説の主人公のような感覚だった。	This feeling… it's as if I'm a princess or a protagonist from a sci-fi novel awakening from eternal sleep.
6			五感がうまく取り戻せない。 手足も、目も耳も口も働いてはいるようだけど、 思い通りの性能を発揮できない。	My five senses have yet to regain their functionality. Sure, my limbs, my ears, my eyes and my mouth are still working fine, but they aren't working as well as I want them to.
7			目はぼやけ、耳鳴りが酷く、声は割れ、 布団から手が出てこない。	My vision is blurry, my ears are ringing like crazy, my voice is hoarse, and I can't even stretch out my hand from beneath this blanket.
8			そして…記憶がなかなか戻らない。	That, and… my memory also isn't very clear.
9			見上げる天井は、 どこかで見たような気もするけれど、 それがどこでだったかが思い出せない。	I look up to the ceiling, feeling a sense of familiarity, but I can't put my finger on where I've seen it before.
10			ただ、自分の部屋でないことだけは確かで…	The only thing that I'm sure about is that this isn't my own room…
11	春希	Haruki	「あ…！？」	"Ah…!?"
12			と、記憶が一瞬で蘇るとともに、 五感の方も素早く目覚めていった。	Then, as my memory regains itself in an instant, my senses perk up with it.
13			ベッドから跳ね起き、周囲を見回し、 そして、広い部屋の中をうろうろと歩き回り…	I immediately leap out of bed, surveying my surroundings, pacing back and forth in the boardroom after that…

15			ブラインドを上げた瞬間…	As I raise the blinds…
16			冬の穏やかな日射しが、 それでも今の自分にはまばゆく突き刺さる。	The gentle winter sunlight floods the room, but it seems blinding to me, the way I am now.
17			続いて窓を開けると、 冬の晴れ間の暖か…くない空気が、 たった今までベッドに包まれていた肌に突き刺さる。	From there, I open the windows. The salubrious winter sky brings…a chilly breeze, brushing across my skin that was wrapped up in bed until now.
18			太陽は、そろそろ西に傾き始めている。 多分、昼休みが終わった辺りの時間。	The sun has almost begun to sidle to the west. I would assume that it's already the end of lunch break.
19			そしてここは…麻理さんの部屋だ。	And this is…Mari-san's room.
20			冷たい風で頭を覚ますと、 改めて部屋の中を見回す。	After refreshing myself with the chill of the breeze, I look around the room again.
21			最近の記憶に残っている通りの、 一人で住むには広すぎるリビングに、 必要最小限の家具。	It's all as my recent memory had recorded; a living room too spacious for a person to be living alone, with the bare minimum of necessary furniture.
22			キッチンも、ほとんど使っていないかのように… というか間違いなく使用頻度が低そうな片づき方。	The kitchen also looks as though it hasn't been used at all… perhaps it's better to say that it's surely been used very sparingly, judging by how it's been kept.
23			記憶と違うのは、床に置かれたカウチソファーの横に、 無造作に投げ出された毛布と…	What's different from my memory, though, is the casually thrown out blanket on the sofa situated on the floor, and…

32	麻理	Mari	「丸二日。 今起きたなら４０時間くらい寝てた計算ね。 脳みそちゃんと溶けずに残ってる？」	"Two whole days. Counting until now I'd say you've slept for around 40 hours. Did you keep your grey matter intact?"
33	春希	Haruki	「っ…す、すいません！ 俺、そんなに長い間…」	"I…I'm extremely sorry! For me to have slept for that long…"
34	麻理	Mari	「良かったじゃない。 大学が始まる前に起きられて、ふふ…」	"Isn't that great? You woke up before your classes start. Hehe…"
35			なんとか適当な口実を設けて 廊下に逃げ出したらしい麻理さんは、 そこで口調を思いっきり砕いた。	" Mari-san, who seemed to have found a good excuse to escape to the hallways, immediately changed her tone of voice entirely."

44	春希	Haruki	「それでも俺、まだ自分が許せません。 麻理さんに許してもらったことも、納得できてません」	"Even so, I can't forgive myself. I can't accept the fact that you're forgiving me either, Mari-san."

46	春希	Haruki	「いつまでも言います。蒸し返します。 俺は、そこまで酷いことをしたんだから」	"I won't stop saying it. I'll keep bringing it up. After all, I did such terrible things to you."

48			その"馬鹿"は、 相変わらずちっとも馬鹿にした様子がなくて。	"The 'dummy' she had called me, is the same as always, without the slightest hint of her thinking of me as a fool at all."
49			妙に愛情というか、優しさが込められた、 文字じゃ絶対に伝わらない、 麻理さん独特の心地良い音色に満ちていて…	"Instead, it brims with a mysterious, loving compassion, or perhaps kindness, things that are indescribable by words alone. Mari-san's unique and relieving voice is filled with such things.

53	春希	Haruki	「そうやって、頼られるまま誰にでも世話を焼いて、 それで裏切られてたらどうしようもないじゃないですか」	"If you keep on like that, being depended on and taking care of anyone, if you get betrayed one day, you can't help it, you know?"

55	春希	Haruki	「それで人を見る目があるなんて、とんだ自信過剰です。 俺を信じるなんて、ピエロもいいところです…」	"And you say you have a good eye for people…that's just being overconfident. You're making a fool out of yourself for trusting me."
56	麻理	Mari	「生意気なことを言うようになったな。 …それも師匠の教えの賜物だとは思わないか？」	"Someone's grown a sharp tongue. Don't you think that's a gift your teacher has bestowed upon you?"
57	春希	Haruki	「思いませんよ、全然」	"I've never thought of it like that at all."
58			そんな弟子びいきが過ぎる反論も認められない。	"I can't accept the absolved way Mari-san refuted that."
59	麻理	Mari	「大体、今のお前の言葉には誤りが二つある。 私は裏切られてなんかいない」	"To begin with, there are two errors in what you just said. It's not like I'm being betrayed at all."

65			謝罪はなかなか受け取ってくれない麻理さんだけど、 感謝の方だけは、はにかみつつも受け入れてくれる。	As much as Mari-san won't accept my apology so easily, she at least accepts my desperate attempt to be grateful bashfully.
66			その反応がまた嬉しくて、それ以上に辛い。	"Her response pleases me, but it pains me more at the same time."
67	麻理	Mari	「なぁ、北原… 私、今からそっちに…」	"Hey, Kitahara… I'll come over to you now."
68	春希	Haruki	「いえ、そろそろ帰ります」	"No, it's about time I headed home."

70			二日前と全く同じことを言ったはずだけど、 麻理さんの反応は、あの時とは違ってた。	"Even though we had the same conversation just two days ago, Mari-san's reaction is completely different from what it was back then."
71	春希	Haruki	「まだ自分の中で 消化しきれていないことは沢山あるけど…」	"It seems that there a lot of things that I still need to digest…"
72			それはきっと、今の俺の声が、言葉が、 あの時の俺のものとは違うように 聞こえるってことだと思う。	"I'm positive that her reaction has changed with my own, hearing my voice, my choice of words, they've all turned different from what they were before.
73	春希	Haruki	「それでも麻理さんのおかげで、 眠れるようにはなれました。 ここからは体力と相談して悩もうと思ってます」	"And of course, it's due to your efforts, that I've been finally able to have some sleep. I'll work according to my capabilities from now on."

85	麻理	Mari	「なぁ、もうちょっとだけ待ってないか？ 私、今日は早く帰るからさ…」	"Hey, can you wait for just a little longer? I'm actually coming home early today…"
86	春希	Haruki	「…まだ俺、麻理さんに顔合わせられません。 勘弁してください」	"…The way I am now, I don't feel as though I'm ready to face you. My apologies, but spare me."

92			その、冷たいけれど明るい冬空が、 俺にほんの少しの勇気を与えてくれるようだった。	"From that cold yet radiant winter sky, I feel as though as if I've gained a tiny bit of newfound courage."
