Chapter 2 — Sky Voyage

The flying boat filled with ether continued to glide over the clouds.

The destination was a sanctuary in the Elemental Spirit World – Floating Island «Ragna Ys».

It was the venue for the Spirit Blade Dance festival.

Originally, only the shrine princesses from the «Divine Ritual Institute» were permitted to enter the sanctuary to attend the Elemental Lord.

However, this was open to the general public specifically during the Blade Dance festival only.

"Oh, this flying boat is so amazing!"

Overlooking the sea of clouds that extended through the window, Kamito was feeling dizzy.

Anyway, it was his first time riding a flying boat.

But as expected from the ladies of nobility, they were accustomed to it as soon as they unloaded their luggage.

He was relaxing on the sofa in the private room that they were each allotted.

The carpet was very beautiful embroidered in red, with the walls being made of polished marble.

All the built-in furniture on board was of the highest quality.

For some reason, Rinslet was stark angry.

Incidentally, only those people who were invited were allowed into the sanctuary; however, Carol being the property of Laurenfrost House— was given a special permit as a companion of Rinslet.

That said, Rinslet still seemed dissatisfied with the treatment, towards Carol.

"How many sugars, Kamito-san?

"Claire's is two, right?"

"You! How do you know about my taste?"

Rinslet blushed and shouted angrily.

"Well, that's because my lady and Miss Claire had been playing together since the early days—

Carol smiled at Kamito's response and said.

"Yes, my lady and Miss Claire were very emotionally attached—"

""Yes, that's right. I assure you that Claire and I are and have always been rivals!"

Rinslet faced the other way.

Because of their long time conflict with Sylphid Knights, Claire and the Sylphid Knights Captain Ellis were on bad terms. With Ellis in the team they merely quarreled for two weeks during the entire training sessions.

In order to utilise the battle skills of the neighboring Ellis, Kamito asserted that the duo unite. This raised complaints from Claire for some reason—— And in such a way many evenings passed.

Afterall, they were two people of very different personalities.

Both of them were assuredly honor students; however, Ellis was more of a sincere type: with great endeavor, while Claire was an ill-tempered genius type. At the very least, both were strong willed.

And thus, the first week went by in a very dangerous mood; however---
